Whirlwind's mobile disc golf store, the biggest in the world, is celebrating its 10-year anniversary in May.

The date coincides with the OTB Open -- this year, serving as the Champions Cup major -- in Stockton on May 1-4. As usual, I'll bring nearly every disc i have to Stockton, roughly 14,000 discs this year.

The only discs I won't bring are the awesome limited edition discs that MVP and OTB produced for this year's event, as they obviously have exclusive rights for the event. But I do have them all in stock at the smoke shop in San Leandro.

If you're attending Champions Cup, do stop by the Whirlwind store. To celebrate the anniversary, we'll have most everything at or below 2015 prices.

For example, if you don't shop until the 17th and you buy $100 worth of sets -- the nieces and nephews will dig it! -- you not only get some free sets, you also get the bonus items for both the $60 level (free storage box) and the $100 level (free bottle or mug).

Update on the Black Friday goodies: We still have a few stock and special edition Time Lapse , but we've sold out the 2023 Gyropalooza boxes. As a consolation, we still have the 2021 and 2022 Gyropalooza at a nice discount.

It's such a great event, such a great vibe. It's also lame that this will probably only be my 2nd or 3rd time attending.

Looking forward to seeing lots of new and especially old friends! (Yes, "old friends" in both senses of the phrase.)
