Congratulations to Giselle "GiGi" Guadalupe of Treeview Little League for being selected out of 200 girls and 30 states to represent CA District 45 and Treeview Little League at the 2026 Maria Pepe Little League Baseball Legacy Series games in Williamsport, PA next month!

Matt Payne has been selected to umpire the West Region Junior League Baseball Tournament in Bend, Oregon in July 2026. Being selected to umpire at the Region level requires hard work and great dedication. It's quite an honor to be selected, you must be considered one of the best umpires in the West Region and the U.S. to get
selected. You earned this distinction Matt, You made D45 Proud Congratulations!

Burglary leaves thousands of dollars in damages to Hayward little league An East Bay little league is without much of their equipment after thieves broke into their clubhouse.

Last weekend our D45 District Umpires hosted a clinic for our league umpires! Great turn out to start the 2026 Spring Season!

On Friday, July 25, 2025, the Castro Valley Little League 8–10 Year Old All-Star Team captured the league’s first-ever State Championship Flag with a 10–0 win over Rincon Valley at Redwood Fields in Cutten, CA. CVLL, founded in 1955, had never sent a 10-year-old team to the state tournament — until now. With an awesome 14–2 overall record through District (4–0), Sectionals (4–1), and State (5–1), these young All-Stars came out on top above over 252 teams statewide. The only other CVLL team to reach the state level was the 12s in 1999, featuring future MLB catcher Jason Castro — but they didn’t win the title.

CV National (red) defeats CV American (blue) in the Junior TOC and will advance to play Union City National in the Semifinals on Thursday 7pm @ San Leandro Ballpark. Come out and cheer on our CVLL Juniors National team!! ⚾️❤️🏆
