Here are some quick, easy and simple shoulder press tips!
Remember to:
✅ Brace your core, think of your core being your foundation.
✅ Make sure your feet are grounded onto the floor before starting, firm feet are key.
✅ Lastly, do not round your back! If you’re having trouble with this last one, remember that your core and feet are there to ground you in place.

Tips to improve your bench:
1. Keep a High Rack: We want the bar at the maximum height that you can reach so that you can un-rack the bar without having to exert yourself!
2. Glute bridge: This helps you feel the pressure and maintain it to find the perfect set up!
3. Bar squeeze: Squeeze the bar hard! It will send tension to your entire body which will help in keeping steady!

Recovery is important. What steps are you taking to maintain your momentum and keep your energy flowing this year?
Some key factors in recovery are:
REST: Making sure you are receiving an adequate amount of sleep is essential for high performance. Your body needs rest to recover, the more fatigued you are the harder it will be to stay on your physical routine.
NUTRITION: A properly maintained diet is very important, if you’re not getting the proper nutrients and calorie intake you need you will have a harder time recovering!
FUN: Low stress, relaxing activities make a big difference and are a great help.

Does high bar to low bar make a difference when squatting? The only thing changing is the position of the bar, your technique for the most part- should stay the same. Do you prefer squatting with a low bar or higher bar?
