Congrats to Mr Kent Cochran for being awarded our Exceptional Character stripe today! Kent took initiative when he saw someone in need and jumped in immediately to help. After that, he went right back to practicing his material. Kent is a hard worker who is becoming a great leader.

Our kids' class kids worked on balance drills last night! Pads were flying and smiles were spreading! These kids worked hard!
At the end of class, each instructor picked a student who showed the best technique and self discipline in each group, and Wyatt, Aaron, and Zane were awarded Excellent Kick stripes!
This class is working and growing- Come join us!

First full week of after school is in the books! We worked on some teamwork drills this week and learned a lot of new warmups and relays for BJJ! Also pictured- Mr Jolly's got jokes!
Today we checked our goal logs. Most of the class met their first goal of the year! Those who didn't meet theirs spent some time working first, then we spent the afternoon enjoying our friends.
It's gonna be a great year!

Great testing today, Refuge! You did really well and we are proud of you!

Wear those full uniforms Monday for Belt Ceremony AND PICTURES!

We want EVERYONE in the pictures!
Tested? Yes! Show us that new belt!
Didn't test? Yes! Show us those stripes you have been working hard to earn!
Just coming back from the summer break? Yes! Break out that uniform and start back looking good!
Be ready with your coolest stance and technique!

Kids belt ceremony will be at 5. After schoolers can attend this one.
Teens/adults at 6.

After school, kids BJJ, and adult BJJ will have regular class.
5:00 kids TKD and 6:00 teen/adult TKD will not have class, only ceremony and pics.

Regular schedule Tuesday, including homeschool class at 2!

Looking forward to watching these kids grow in Christ, in skills, and together this year!
