TIP OF THE DAY — FREEDOM FROM FEAR

Fear can divide us. Strength brings us together.

We are stronger together than divided. A good team recognizes each person’s strengths and employs them to better serve the whole.

Ask yourself:
• What are my strengths?
• How am I contributing to the team?
• Am I training to improve my strengths?
• Am I working to overcome my weaknesses?

Being meek doesn’t mean being weak. It means having strength under control and using it for the right purpose.

“Blessed are the meek: for they shall inherit the earth.” — Matthew 5:5

Train your strengths. Overcome your weaknesses. Serve the team. Don’t let fear keep you from becoming your best.

We always come back stronger from a hit.

TIP OF THE DAY

MARKSMANSHIP PROFICIENCY

Marksmanship is a perishable skill.

There’s a difference between practicing to maintain your skill and practicing to improve it.

🔹 MAINTAIN: Practice enough to keep your fundamentals sharp and your performance consistent.

🔹 IMPROVE: Practice with greater frequency and, more importantly, with deliberate purpose—identify weaknesses, work on them, and measure your progress.

Once you reach a goal, the work isn’t finished. You now have something worth maintaining.

Build a practice schedule. Track your performance. Practice with purpose. Don’t just send rounds—train to become better.

Be deliberate about being your best.

📖 “For whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap.”
Galatians 6:7

TAKEAWAY:
What you put into your training determines what you get out of your performance.

TIP OF THE DAY

Small Base Dies for Semi-Automatic Ri**es

Semi-auto ri**es can be more sensitive to sizing than bolt guns. A small base die sizes the case body slightly smaller, helping ensure reliable chambering and feeding.

🔹 Bolt gun: Standard full-length sizing is typically sufficient.
🔹 Semi-auto: A small base die can provide an extra margin of reliable function—especially with mixed brass or chambers that are less forgiving.

The Goal: Reliable feeding + consistent chambering = confidence when it matters.

📖 “It is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than for a rich man to enter the kingdom of God.” — Matthew 19:24

TAKEAWAY: Sometimes the smallest details make the biggest difference. In reloading, a small amount of sizing can mean the difference between reliable function and a failure to chamber.

TIP OF THE DAY

ACCOUNTABILITY

Mark 6:7 (KJV)
“And he called unto him the twelve, and began to send them forth by two and two; and gave them power over unclean spirits.”

Proverbs 27:17 (KJV)
“Iron sharpeneth iron; so a man sharpeneth the countenance of his friend.”

Accountability makes us better. We weren’t designed to do everything alone. Whether you’re training, competing, or preparing for the hunt, surround yourself with people who will challenge you, sharpen you, and hold you accountable.

Iron sharpens iron. Don’t just practice together. Hold each other accountable.

🎯 Consistency + Accountability = Improvement

Be intentional. Be accountable. Be accurate.

TIP OF THE DAY

DAY OF REST

Recovery isn’t just physical—it’s cognitive.

Shooting requires focus, decision-making, visual processing, and consistency. Fatigue can quietly degrade all of them.

A day away from the range can help you come back sharper, more focused, and more consistent.

You don’t improve by always doing more.
Sometimes, you improve by recovering.

📖 “He makes me lie down in green pastures; He leads me beside quiet waters. He refreshes my soul.”
— Psalm 23:2–3

TAKEAWAY:
Rest is part of the training. Protect your recovery like you protect your trigger time.
