Heath High School Wrestling

It was a big weekend for our Bulldogs as our boys team competed at Jonathan Alder for sectionals and our girls team battled at Licking Valley sectionals and they showed up ready to work!

We are so proud of the fight, heart, and determination shown by every wrestler this weekend.

👏 We’re excited to have 2 wrestlers advancing to Districts and 3 alternates! That’s a huge accomplishment and a testament to the work these athletes put in all season long.

Outstanding job to our middle school team today at Mount Vernon for the Licking County League Tournament!
All four of our wrestlers competed hard and wrestled great today. We are so proud of the effort they put on the mat!

The Heath Bulldogs had a solid weekend on the mats at Utica!

On Friday, senior Josey Nihiser had a great showing at the Utica Girls Tournament, finishing 2nd place.

Today, the Bulldogs continued the momentum:
• Anthony Carnahan – 3rd place
• Landon Roush – 4th place
• Xander Presley – 5th place

Yesterday our middle school team competed at the Lakewood Middle School Classic. We are so proud of this group and the major improvements they continue to make each week.

The Heath Wrestling Program is in desperate need of concession stand workers this Saturday, the 20th.

Shifts are broken into 2 hour time slots, making it easy to help out for a short period of time. These tournaments cannot run smoothly without parent and community support.

Please consider volunteering your time to help support our athletes and our program this Saturday. Every shift filled makes a big difference!
