Big Hollow Shooting Range

Everybody loves .22's! So much fun having .22lr ammunition available again. Here's a little fun on the 100 yard range at the Big Hollow Shooting Range...

I know there is a lot of concern about fire safety since the fire started at the range in weber county. By following the Standard operating procedure the Big Hollow range is operating safely. During dry times we keep the shooting to within the cleared off areas within our boundaries. We take down the metal gongs that are up the hill, and do not allow metal piercing or tracer ammunition. We do not allow exploding targets, and limit the use of magnums on shooting steel. So you can see there are many ways to safely keep shooting and enjoying our sport.

Big Hollow Shooting Range - Events 425 followers

We will be having sight in help at Big Hollow Range, we will have skilled people to help you sight in your fi****ms for the hunt. The range will be open as usual, but one or two benches will be manned by skilled personal to help with sighting in your gun with your ammunition.

Dates are:

Sept 22 Muzzle loader 12:00 to 4:00
Sept 29 Rifle 12:00 to 4:00
Oct 13 rifle 12:00 to 4:00

What do you bring to the Big Hollow Range?

A little clean up at the Big Hollow Shooting Range! Some generous machine time from Wasatch County, concrete barricades from Staker Parsonsn transport by thel Utah Division of Wildlife Resources and more volunteer time from the Big Hollow Range Safety Officers.
The 100 yard range will be flat and wide for every shooting position. A big thank you to all involved!
