Grateful for the opportunity to help coach our All-Star team this past Friday at Lucerne Valley. This group represented our league the right way—with effort, teamwork, and heart every time they stepped on the court.

I especially want to shout out the three players who truly stood out from ACE. Max, Liam and Sammy killed it and I am looking forward to next season already! Their energy, leadership, and unselfish play made a big impact and set the tone for everyone else. They played the game the right way and made all of us proud.🏀

The ACE basketball team had an incredible opportunity to attend a college basketball game at the University of Southern California and watch the USC Trojans men’s basketball team compete. The team got to walk around USC Village and check out the campus. This trip was a reflection of the amazing season our team had. These players showed heart, discipline, and commitment all year long, making our school and community proud. Being able to share this moment together was another reminder of how special this group has been and the culture they helped build this season. Thank you to all the staff and parents and community members that made this season possible!!! 🏀🦅

As we close the chapter on this season, I want to say how proud I am of this team. It didn’t end the way we hoped, but our boys battled all the way to Game 2 of the second round of CIF and played with heart, toughness, and unity. They left everything on the floor. Sometimes the scoreboard doesn’t tell the whole story, but the character, resilience, and brotherhood this group showed all season long speaks louder than any final score.

To our community and fans, thank you for packing the gym, traveling with us, and bringing the energy every single game. You made our home court special and reminded our players that they represent something bigger than themselves.

To our teachers and staff, thank you for supporting our athletes in the classroom and encouraging them throughout the season. Your flexibility, accountability, and belief in these young men helped make everything possible. Success on the court begins with responsibility in school, and we are grateful for the role you played.

To our parents, thank you for everything you poured into this season. Thank you for the rides, the meals, the sacrifices, the fundraising, and the constant encouragement. Thank you for standing by your sons through every win and every challenge. Most importantly, thank you for trusting us with them and allowing us to help guide their growth—not just as basketball players, but as young men. Your support is the foundation of this program.

And to our players—thank you. Thank you for buying in, for trusting each other, for holding the standard, and for representing our school the right way. You built something special this year. You strengthened the culture and laid a foundation that will last far beyond one season.

The season may be over, but what you created will continue. I couldn’t be more proud of this team. Once an Eagle, always an Eagle.

What a night. Beating Compton Early College 78–66 wasn’t just a win on the scoreboard — it was a statement about who these young men have become. I am beyond proud of the heart, discipline, and togetherness they showed from start to finish. They stayed locked in, trusted each other, and played for something bigger than themselves. This group has worked, sacrificed, and believed when it wasn’t easy, and now they’ve earned something special — a trip to the second round of CIF playoffs for the first time in over 10 years. That’s legacy. That’s growth. And this is only the beginning. 🦅
