If you can give even a few dollars toward helping kids in Afghanistan have something they enjoy, it will be so appreciated. Helping us support them in the circus arts gives them a purpose in life. Gymcats stands up for the health, safety and wellness of our community. No achievement in the sport by the kids, no milestones reached by our business, and no accomplishment achieved by our competitve teams is worth damaging a kid's mental health or harming their self-esteem. No business success is worth putting our staff and customer's health and safety at risk and we are never going to do what's easier or popular at the expense of kids, parents and staff members' overall wellness.

Our 30 year annivesary is February 2022 and over these 30 years, we have grown and "achieved" so much, but our main achivement is learning about the damage that must be avoided from strict, stressful or high pressure coaching/parenting. We strive to educate parents and coaches on letting kids guide their work and not increasing stress by focusing on achievement.

We want to be leaders in our community and each decision we make is because we honestly think it is the right thing to do for our kids, our staff, our parents and our entire community.

Many people are writing our business wondering what we got paid for doing the commercial on question 3. We were paid nothing and support question 3 because it will affect us and businesses that can most afford it (only 13% of businesses are affected). It will finally make businesses like WalMart pay something back into our community! It will affect Tesla too for those upset that they got too great of a deal. The money pouring in against it is astounding. We would prefer not to pay an additional tax as well, but KNOW we can afford it without raising prices or laying off anyone. The WORST case scenario is a business taking in over $20,000/week and needing to come up with $280 out of that $20,000- and this is the worst case scenario, many will be able to deduct more than the flat 30%. These companies saying they will go out of business are not being honest in our opinion, this is good for our future and an investment in education now will come back to businesses in the future when it boosts our economy. Where do you think this money will be spent? On teachers (who will spend it at our businesses), on school improvements and supplies (which will come back to local businesses) and on increasing our kids future earning power while reducing their govt dependence. Wins all the way around.
