Henderson High School Cross Country

Congrats to all the runners as they worked hard at the Tyler Legacy XC meet yesterday.
Everybody from last year’s teams had PR”s based on their past finish time.

Grit that they show on the heat and the 1 on 1 mind obstacles while they are on their own as they complete either their 2 or 3 mile race is unreal.

Our hope is that they continue to instill that as a habit for life as they graduate

The wait is officially over! The 2026 XC schedule has dropped, and we are ready to leave it all on the course. Mark your calendars and come out to cheer us on! 💪🏃🦁🏃‍♀️

Official XC practices start tomorrow

We will be running every day except Friday at 6am at the high school tomorrow
Tuesday fair park
Wed lake forest park
Thursday high school

Reminder you must have a physical on file and have rank one forms completed before the first race on Aug 14th

The 2024-2025 XC banquet comes to an end this evening with a nice meal and a recollection of stories and memories to remember. This season’s accolades had an All- State Academic award for a student athlete, 20 All- District Academic awards, 2 regional qualifiers, and many PRs through out the season.
In my opinion, all of these recognitions have value but I stick with the more permanent principles from our program that shape kids lives forever.
Thank you parents once again for all the constant support.
