Pick em’

It's a two-man race between Dale Hathaway (10-8-2) and Rod Gibson (9-9-2). Kc Cox and Tyrese can't finish first in any outcome. I checked this by running every combination of results through the grader.

Sunday night (Dallas at Green Bay) barely matters. Both leaders took Green Bay and the Under 53.5, so they win or lose those two picks together. The one exception is the spread: Dale has Green Bay -1.5 and Rod has -1.0. If Green Bay wins by exactly 1, Rod gets a push (void) and Dale gets a miss. That only changes anything if they end up tied on wins.

Monday night (Washington at San Francisco) decides it. Both took San Francisco -7.5, so the spread is shared. The two picks where they split:

A 1st half of exactly 26 points wins for both of them.

**Rod wins if Monday is high-scoring:**

2. **Exactly 52 and the 1st half has 27+:** they tie on wins and misses. Rod's tiebreaker guess (17-35) adds up to exactly 52, so he wins it.
3. **Over 52 and the 1st half has exactly 26:** they tie on wins and misses, and the tiebreaker decides. Rod's guess is 52 and Dale's is 57 (23-34), so a final total of 53 or 54 goes to Rod and 55+ goes to Dale. If Green Bay won Sunday by exactly 1, Rod wins this case on fewer misses no matter the total.

**Dale wins every other outcome:** any Monday total under 52, or a 1st half of 26 or fewer (apart from case 3 above). Rod needs a shootout, and it has to start in the first half. Dale needs one of the two Monday totals to stay low.
