Today we remember the men and women who gave their lives in service of this country.

Memorial Day is more than a long weekend. It's a day set aside for the families who never got their person back, and for the rest of us to remember what that cost bought.

We are honored to live, train, and build community on the freedom they paid for.

🇺🇸 The Academy is closed today, Monday, May 25, in observance of Memorial Day. Regular schedule resumes Tuesday with our normal Gi rotation.

If you have a name to remember today, say it out loud. Tell your kids. That's how we keep them with us.

This Memorial Day weekend, the mats are open. Free, all academies welcome, in support of the We Defy Foundation.

We Defy provides long-term Brazilian Jiu Jitsu scholarships to combat veterans living with PTSD, anxiety, depression, and other military-connected disabilities. It costs $2,500 to put a single veteran through the program — and what they get back is community, discipline, and a way to keep moving forward.
