I wanted to jump into my new project but I would be failing some of my boys to not give credit. As a final weekend of great hockey winds down what better way to end the season than playing against your old buddies (a win would have been nice). As DSE 2014s had a fantastic season including beating top 10 teams this season, VGK 2014s took the final prize at our host tournament this weekend in Dallas. Congrats boys.

Ok, so what am I cooking.... this has been my view all season. At the beginning of the season I didnt know what to do or where to go. As a coach there was a process and an hour before games wasnt enough. As a dad in the stands, I finish my cup of coffee before the kids are on the ice. It took some trial and error (now I bring 2 cups of coffee) but the coach in me wont die. I am a coach. Every game I watch, I scout, evaluate, and process a game as a coach. Its what I do. Its who I am and I miss it.

So here is what I am proposing....I would like to offer video review for anyone that wants feedback. I can give specific player analysis for any game. We can do a live zoom while watching your shifts together and discuss. Or I can watch all your shifts in a game, fully analyze a game, and then provide specific feedback on repeated mistakes. I have done video with some of my teams in the past as a group and obviously 1-1 with my son. But online/zoom will be new and I will make adjustments as needed. This program will build Hockey IQ and provide knowledge of bad habits that you didnt know you were doing. BattleBorn players cost will be $70. Non BattleBorn $80 for 30 min session. To my BattleBorn family, greetings from Dallas. I apologize for the abrupt departure. Our family had to make difficult decisions during tough times. All you can do is trust you make good decisions at that moment. My boy is skating with Dallas Stars Elite 11u AAA. I wanted to drop a quick note to my boys and families on Vegas to let you know, I have been watching (many times live). Whether you are on VGK, Storm, Warriors, or one of the many house tourney teams (wow, feels like one team is missing) I have enjoyed watching your development from 1000 miles away. This is the first season in a LONG time I didnt coach and man I miss it. I wanted to let you all know I am working on some online stuff that I think some of you may have some interest. I know for many that March can be a tough month for Vegas hockey kids. Work Hard, Pay Attention, and Win Every Battle. Watch for a new program I will be dropping later this week.
