After months of testing on the water, I've decided to make a change.

Going forward, all Norfork Tackle Company products will be transitioning to BKK Fangs treble hooks and BKK split rings.

The biggest reason for the switch is simple: saltwater compatibility.

My vision has always been bigger than Norfork Lake. I want these spoons to perform just as well for ocean stripers as they do for freshwater stripers. The previous treble hooks we used weren't designed for saltwater applications, but the BKK Fangs were built specifically for that purpose and feature an anti-rust coating designed to resist saltwater corrosion.

I've been extremely impressed with BKK this summer. This isn't a new company trying to make a name for itself. BKK has been manufacturing hooks for well over 100 years and has built a reputation among anglers around the world for producing strong, sharp, high-performance hooks. Their motto says it all: Better. Stronger. Sharper.

From this point forward, our spoons will be built with 100% saltwater-compatible hardware.
