LVC Team Bad Ass had a great work crew on Easter Sunday.

We added a new LONG (CLUB) tee pad for MILL 9 (was MILL 5 in 2025). (See image 2.) The old long tee pad was about 470' from the baskert. The new long tee pad is about 410' from the basket, but requires a very low/controled drive. Scott Merritt (We are retaining the old long tee pad for MILL 9 for future use, so actually have a super-long tee pad for MILL 9, but it will NOT be used for the 2026 LVC.)

We cleaned up and added a railroad tie for dirt support on MILL 18 (was MILL 14 in 2025). (See image 3.)

We are a little behind on our course improvements, and will NOT have a workday in May. Our next workday is Sunday, June 7th, starting at 8:30 AM.

Thank you Valerie Steinbaum ($135 in JELLC credit), Jeromy Olsen ($60 in JELLC credit), Zena Olsen ($45 in JELLC credit), Peter Beaulieu (at least $30 in JELLC credit), Pete Gargotto (even on JELLC credit), and Jessica Jacquart for your time on Sunday!

We had a very small LVC Team Bad Ass work crew yesterday (Wednesday) do a few housekeeping items.

We purchased and stored 12 railroad ties for future workdays/improvements.

We added a new SHORT (CASUAL) tee pad for INN 1. (See image 2.) INN 1 was been redesigned where we combined Holes 1 & 3. From the LONG (ALL for LVC) tee pad, it is about 490' and a very doable Par 4. From the SHORT (CASUAL) tee pad, it is about 450' and also a Par 4.

We installed a normal-sized tee pad for INN 1 SUPER SHORT (CASUAL). (See image 3.) It is about 300' and also a Par 4 for newer players.

Our next workday is Easter Sunday, April 5th, starting at 8:30 AM. Jessica Jacquart, as usual, will be making us a tasty lunch when we are done! We still have lots to do! (See image 4.)

Thank you Valerie Steinbaum and Pete Gargotto for your time on Wednesday!

We installed a new short (DIAMOND) tee pad for MILL 17 (was MILL 13 in 2025). This is a distance control shot, through a small gap between the trees, over a green, not down the hill, around 290'. (See images 4 & 5.)

We installed a new casual short tee pad for INF 15. (One of our committments to Wildhorse Golf Club is to install short and super short tee pads, when and where available, for more casual play needs. (See image 6.)

LVC Team Bad Ass had a small work crew yesterday (Tuesday).

As stated in the last post, Course Infinite, Hole 15, is being redesigned.

A long (Club layout) tee pad for INF 15 was installed last week. After some detailed assessment, it has been decided that this will be the only tee pad used for the LVC. A easier Par 4 for the A (Club) Pool and a harder Par 4 for the B (Diamond) Pool.

Yesterday, a bricket base was added to the basket. (See image 1.)

We also rebuilt the brick basket base for INN 8. (See image 2.) INN 8 has also been redesigned, with the basket moving to the far left-side of the fairway, next to permanent bathrooms.

We also built a new brick basket base for MILL 13 (was MILL 9 in 2025), and cleaned out a lot of brush! (See image 3.) This hole is about 60' shorter, and we should see just a few more birdies!

We still have 4 new tee pads to install on Course Millennium (3 for LVC and 1 for casual play), 4 on Course Infinite (2 for LVC and 2 for casual play), and 1 on Course Innova (for casual play). If time allows, we still have 5 tee pads to flip and repack on Course Millennium and 6 on Course Infinite. (About 2.5 tee pads per workday.) (See image 4 for our 2026 LVC Course Improvement Plan.)

Our next workday is Sunday, March 22nd, starting at 8:30 AM. Jessica Jacquart, as usual, will be making us a tasty lunch when we are done!

Thank you Pete Gargotto, Valerie Steinbaum, Ronnie Ruhl, and Matthew Maldonao for your time on Tuesday!

LVC Team Bad Ass had a small work crew on Sunday.

Course Infinite, Hole 15, is being redesigned.

We installed a long (Club layout) tee pad for INF 15, and moved the basket to the other side of the ball golf fairway (like 235' to the right, kind of near the tee pad for INF 3 (the triple mando). The distance is around 540' and will be a Par 4 for a Club Pool.

The short (Diamond layout) tee pad will be installed over the next few weeks, along with the basket base for the hole. That distance will be around 460', and also a Par 4 for the Diamond Pool.

Both tee pads help with flow issues from Basket 14.

We also removed the old tee pad for INF 13 since that hole has also been redesigned.

We still have 4 new tee pads to install on Course Millennium and 4 on Course Infinite. If time allows, we still have 5 tee pads to flip and repack on Course Millennium and 6 on Course Infinite. (About 2.5 tee pads per workday.) (See image 2 for our 2026 LVC Course Improvement Plan.)

Our next workday is sometime during the week over the next few weeks, and then again on Our next workday is Sunday, March 22nd, starting at 8:30 AM. Jessica Jacquart, as usual, will be making us a tasty lunch when we are done! The crew had a chicken and white bean chili last Sunday!

Thank you K.F. Headley, Pete Gargotto, John Raburn, Valerie Steinbaum, and Jessica Jacquart for your time on Sunday!

LVC Team Bad Ass had probably the most productive workday ever!

We installed pink PVC markers to help identify the short O.B. Rock Wall on INN 11 that connects the drainage channel O,B, to the cart path O.B. (See image 2.)

We installed a new "short" tee pad for INN 15 (was INN 16 in 2025). The shorter tee pad will be used by the A/Club Pool (MPO, MP40, MP50, and MA1 divisions). The distance is about 828' (60' shorter than the long position) and will be a Par 4. (The 888' tee pad was too easy as a Par 5 and too hard as a Par 4 for the A/Club Pool, so a slightly shorter tee pad should resolve this "Par 4.5" issue. The B/Diamond Pool will continue to use the longer Par 5 tee pad.) (See image 3.) This new INN 15 short tee pad can ALSO be used as the "super short" tee pad for Wildhorse's Casual Afternoon Course, Hole 11, at 306'. (See images 4 & 5.)

We removed the INF 12 short tee pad (INF 12 in redesign for 2026 and final design TBD) and installed the new INF 13 tee pad. The new hole is 317' long and a Par 3. The basket will be blocked by a row of pine trees you carefully need to navigate under. (See images 6 & 7.) This redesign allows a better transition between INF 12, 13, & 14. (The old tee pad for INF 14 was also removed.) When playing Wildhorse's Casual Morning Course, this basket is about 30' shorter than the tournament location and plays as Hole 15.

Team Bad Ass also flipped, repacked, and cleaned up INF 18. (See images 8 & 9.)

Although not used for the LVC, a full casual short tee pad was added to Wildhorse's Casual Morning Course, Hole 18 (or MILL 18). This tee pad is about 50' closer than the longer tee pad. (See image 10.)

Finally, the basket location for INN 12 was shorted by about 60', to 390'. The 2025 460' hole design was too hard for the A/Club Pool (MPO, MP40, MP50, and MA1 divisions) as a Par 3. (See images 11 & 12.)

We have one more casual tee pad addition and a mando pole to add to Course Innova, and then all 2026 LVC significant improvements are done! (We still owe you a few pictures of basket location changes on Course Innova.)

We still have 4 new tee pads to install on Course Millennium and 5 on Course Infinite. If time allows, we still have 5 tee pads to flip and repack on Course Millennium and 6 on Course Infinite. (About 2.5 tee pads per workday.) (See image 13 for our 2026 LVC Course Improvement Plan.)

Our next workday is Sunday, February 22nd, starting at 8:30 AM. Jessica Jacquart, as usual, will be making us a tasty lunch when we are done! The crew had two different chilis to choose from last Sunday!

Thank you K.F. Headley, Pete Gargotto, Jeromy Olson, Scott Merritt, Stephan Self, James Beck, Craig King, John Raburn, Valerie Steinbaum, and Jessica Jacquart for your time on Sunday!
