Reminder, this year you can pre-order a few goodies including the co-branded Sexton Firebird and Heimburg Toro! (Shipping not included if you are not attending the event.) Pre-orders end October 2nd! (As we have done in prior years, there will still be a line for Firebirds and Toros Wednesday evening after the Player's Meeting and again Saturday evening during the Event Party, but quantities will be limited so only pre-orders are guaranteed they will get some!)

We are also taking orders for full-zip jackets. We have never done a zip jacket before, only windbreaker pullovers. A test run of the jackets was just completed, and they look amazing! So far, over 50 individuals have pre-ordered them and a few lucky Vegas individuals will be showing them off (once the weather cools down). (See flier and below.)

You do NOT need to be in attendance to pre-order a jacket (or other goodies). Register for the event at https://www.discgolfscene.com/tournaments/2026_Las_Vegas_Challenge_presented_by_Innova/register, under division, select "SPEC - Spectator." Then, choose your size and color combination under the "LVC Jacket" drop-down menu. And then, under the "Spectator Levels" drop-down menu, select "General Spectator" (which has no fee). Finally, in the notes indicate you are not attending the event and provide the address to ship the pre-ordered goodness to.

The 2026 Las Vegas Challenge presented by Innova Discs would like to thank Wildhorse Golf Club, the host of the 2026 LVC, for their continued partnership! This is the eleventh year that the LVC has been held at Wildhorse, and they are over a $14,000 Jackpot sponsor!

Wildhorse provided $5,000 in a course improvement budget; $7,000 in rent savings; $1,000 in the volunteer dinner savings; and at least $1,000 in free rounds of golf to Team Bad Ass (those that do the course improvements), cash-back from the Tuesday-Night doubles, and returned lost & found discs.

If you didn't know, the Wildhorse facility accommodates casual disc golf year-round. They have a Morning Course Long Layout (with a Pro & Am par), a Morning Course Short Layout, an afternoon Course Long Layout (also with a Pro & Am par), an Afternoon Course Short Layout, and an Afternoon Course Super-Short (newbie) Layout. All new tee pads are done being constructed, the UDisc layouts are almost up-to-date (thanks Scott Merritt), and updated tee signs should be installed by early September.

Attached are the updated Wildhorse Disc Golf Course Morning & Afternoon Layouts (2026 v2). Many of the holes are used for the 2026 LVC!

The 2026 Las Vegas Challenge presented by Innova Discs has added a one-day, one-round C-Tier Juniors event to the schedule. Juniors play Course Infinite Discs (Diamond Layout) on Sunday, starting just after 10 AM. Up to 30 juniors can be accommodated. The Juniors Director is Jason Schwake.

Entry fee is only $25 and the Juniors player's packs should be valued around $100!

Registration is available at https://www.discgolfscene.com/tournament/2026_Las_Vegas_Challenge_Juniors_One_Day_presented_by_Innova and opens today at 5 PM PST.

Some of the fliers for the LVC have been amended to accommodate the Junior activity, and posted on the Disc Golf Scene registration page. Those fliers are NOT posted on the event site (www.lvcdg.com).

Although the Juniors don't play until Sunday, if they are on-site during the normal practice days (Sunday, 11/8, after 1 PM thru Wednesday, 11/11), they are more than welcomed to practice any of the courses (although they only play Course Infinite) and attend the A-Tier Player's Meeting Wednesday evening. Additionally, Juniors can practice Course Infinite Thursday, 11/12 thru Saturday, 11/14, starting 30 minutes AFTER the final A-Tier card tees (around 2:30 PM).

There will also be a separate Player's Meeting for the Juniors on Sunday, 11/15, at 10 AM near Course Infinite's Starter Tent.

Juniors can register for the Long Drive and Putting contest at the main LVC DGS registration link at https://www.discgolfscene.com/tournament/2026_Las_Vegas_Challenge_Juniors_One_Day_presented_by_Innova. Under division, select "SPEC Spectator" and the Distance and Putting options show up.

2026 Las Vegas Challenge (Juniors One Day) presented by Innova 2026 Las Vegas Challenge (Juniors One Day) presented by Innova is a PDGA-sanctioned disc golf tournament in Henderson, Nevada beginning November 15, 2026 and hosted by Jacquart Events LLC.

UPDATED - We have secured 60 (was 50) tickets for the Friday, November 13th, NHL Vegas Golden Knights vs. Nashville Predators. Game time starts at 7 PM at the T-Mobile Arena, located on the Las Vegas Strip, behind the New York-New York Hotel & Casino. Seats are in Section 220, Rows M, N, P, Q, & R. Ticket prices are about 50% off normal pricing ($85 per ticket)!

We expect these tickets to be sold quickly and currently limited to players and volunteers!

You can purchase up to four tickets on the Disc Golf Scene registration page. If you plan on going, I strongly recommend you buy them ASAP.

You can EDIT your registration when you are logged into DGS, select the Las Vegas Challenge under TOURNAMENT, and select PLAYERS.

Here is the DRAFT Course Infinite Caddie Book. (Soon to be updated on the event website and already posted under documents on the Disc Golf Scene registration page.) This DRAFT version of the caddie book highlights (in purple) changes between last year's layout and this year. These changes are also summarized below. Note that the Long Layout has been renamed the Club Layout as there is one hole on each course where the four divisions that play the long/club layout (MPO, MP40, MP50, & MA1) play a shorter tee pad. Thus, they do not always play long anymore. (For Course Infinite, this is Hole 15, as a Par 3.) Likewise, also note that the Short Layout has been renamed the Diamond Layout as there is one hole on each course where all the other divisions that play the short/diamond layout (not MPO, MP40, MP50, & MA1) play a longer tee pad. (Hole 15, as a Par 4.) Each LVC tee pad will have a black club or a red diamond spray painted on them to ensure the correct tee pad is used during the event. Also note that the only divisions that play the Course Infinite Club layout is MP50 and MA1. (MPO and MP40 play the Course Millennium Club layout.)

Between this year and last year, the long/club par layout has increased by 2 and the short/diamond par layout has also increased by 2! (Guess Course Infinite just got a little harder.)

Hole 1 has no changes.

Holes 2 the O.B. was removed along the right side of the fairway.

Hole 3 has no changes. (The triple mando just seems smaller!)

Hole 4 the basket was moved up a bit (about 25’ shorter) to make it a little easier.

Hole 5 has no changes.

Hole 6 the O.B. was removed along the right side of the fairway.

Holes 7 is back to being a triple island (but only 1 D.Z.), and par
increased to 4 for the Club divisions.

Hole 8 has no changes.

Hole 9 has a new CLUB tee pad (about 80’ longer, with par increased to a 5).

Hole 10 has no changes.

Hole 11 has a new basket location (no longer the one in the tree since that is now used for Innova 13), about 80’ longer for the Club divisions and 50’ longer for the Diamond divisions. Par remains a 3 for all divisions.

Hole 12 has been totally redesigned. An easy birdie if you can throw a straight 330’ shot!

Hole 13 has also been slightly redesigned and an easy birdie if you can throw a straight 330’ shot!

Hole 14 has a new tee pad location where the long tee used to be for Infinite 15, and the basket was shifted to the left. Distance is about 20’ longer, par is still a 3, but now all three sand traps are hidden from the tee! (Don’t stay short, but don’t go long either!)

Hole 15 has also been totally redesigned. THIS IS THE HOLE ON COURSE INFINITE WHERE THE LONG/CLUB DIVISIONS PLAY THE SHORTER TEE PAD. Good luck making a long putt with this hidden basket location!

Hole 16 through 18 have no changes. (Hole 18 is still as tough as ever!)

Hole 1 used to be Hole 15 in 2025 (reordered so the final hole is not impacted by the temporary driveway to the overflow parking lot on the driving range as much), and the tee pad was moved up a bit (about 50’ shorter). You can see the basket from the tee now, and maybe, just maybe, we will add a triple mando in future years, forcing you to go up the gut! The D.Z. has also been removed since the hole will have a spotter (designated as a marshal for the hole), letting you know where you were last in bounds.

Holes 2 thru 4 have no changes except renumbering (were Holes 16 thru 18).

Holes 5 & 6 have no changes except renumbering (were Holes 1 & 2).

Holes 7 & 8 used to be Holes 3 & 4, and the O.B. was removed along the left sides of the fairways.

Hole 9 used to be 5 and the CLUB tee pad was moved closer (about 70’ shorter) to allow for a few more birdies. But the very low ceiling right off the tee pad may cause trouble for some of you! (And make sure you pay attention where the D.Z. is if you are never in bounds from longer tee pads. In most cases, you advance to the shorter tee pad.)

Hole 10 used to be 6, with no other changes.

Hole 11 used to be 7, and the basket was moved back a bit (about 20’ longer) to make it a little tougher. (Don’t get lost right of the fairway!)

Hole 12 used to be 8, with no other changes (the snack/water tent is still located behind the basket).

Hole 13 used to be 9, and the basket was moved closer (about 40’ shorter to make it a little easier ... if you can hit the gap!

Hole 14 used to be 10, the basket was moved back (about 90’ longer), the CLUB tee pad is last year’s diamond tee pad (remaining a Par 3), while the DIAMOND tee pad is last year’s club tee pad (as a Par 4). THIS IS THE HOLE ON COURSE MILLENNIUM WHERE THE LONG/CLUB DIVISIONS PLAY THE SHORTER TEE PAD.

Hole 15 used to be 11, with no other changes.

Hole 16 used to be 12, the basket was moved closer (about 40’ shorter) with both pars dropping from a 5 to a 4.

Hole 17 used to be 13, the basket was moved to the left (about 40’ shorter from the CLUB tee pad), and a DIAMOND tee pad is new (with par reduced to a 3).

Hole 18 used to be 14, the basket was moved closer (about 40’ shorter), and par was reduced to a 3 for the DIAMOND layout. (That last hole has to be a hard one!)
