Memories were captured. A new legend was born.

This is what the True Amateur Tournament is all about.

With one final shot and everything on the line, Cornell Ray from Centennial Lanes, Illinois, stepped onto the approach and delivered when it mattered most. Strike after strike, he kept the dream alive, then buried the final shot to claim the 2026 Summer True Amateur Tournament Championship.

As if that wasn't enough, Cornell kept the magic rolling by throwing the extra strikes needed to secure the Progressive Pot Prize, bringing his incredible weekend total to $30,000.

This video captures every emotion, from the pressure of the championship shot to the celebration as the $30,000 check was written and handed over. Moments like these are why we do what we do.

Congratulations, Cornell. Your name is now forever part of True Amateur Tournament history.
