Things we wish every parent knew before starting dance. 💙

→ Your child does NOT need to be naturally flexible, coordinated, experienced, or confident to start dancing. There is no “right” age to begin, and they don’t have to walk into their first class ready to jump in.

→ Sometimes confidence comes after they realize they’re safe to try.

→ And progress? It doesn’t always show up week to week. Sometimes it’s a new skill. Sometimes it’s applying a correction. Sometimes it’s raising their hand, trying again, or walking into class without you.

Because great dance training isn’t about being the best dancer in the room. It’s about being challenged, learning how to work through hard things, and becoming more confident in who you are. 🙌

Sure, tricks are cool.

But watching your child become confident in who they are?

Miss Hailey is such a special part of CDA, and she brings so much to our studio both in and out of the classroom.

Not only is she an amazing, inspiring teacher who gives so much to her dancers, but she also works tirelessly behind the scenes as our Marketing Director, running our social media and helping bring the magic of Captivation to life every single day 💖

If you follow CDA online, see one of our beautiful photos, or wonder how all of the fun happening at the studio somehow makes its way onto your screen…Miss Hailey is a HUGE part of that! And on top of all of it, she is an insanely talented photographer who has such a gift for capturing the best moments of our dancers and studio.
