Just a reminder that our monthly club meeting is this Tuesday, August 5, at 7:00 at the field in Sanders Ferry Park. Come early and get in a flight or two before the meeting! Hope to see you there!

Saturday, June 21, is our monthly club field day. The club members will be at the field to perform any maintenance needs and will fly afterwards. Flying normally starts around 9:00. Come watch, or, even better, join us! We will have instructor pilots there who can give you an introductory flight if you think you might be interested in this fulfilling hobby. Everyone is welcome. Sanders Ferry Park in Hendersonville, TN.

Just wanted to let everyone know that the field in Sanders Ferry Park will be closed on Saturday, August 28, until 1:00-ish in the afternoon to accommodate a major high school cross country track meet. Please do not fly during the event.

Hey guys. If anyone out there happens to have their Part 107 Commercial Drone permit and wants to put it into use, I have a friend who is building a house in Brentwood and wants to pay someone to get some aerial footage of the house and property. A nice opportunity for a 107er. Kind of makes me want to get mine now.

At the field with my newest chopper. It's a little windy and she's still handling well. A winner!

At the field bright and early this morning. Helicopters only for me today. Bobby is supposed to be joining me later. Anyone else? The winds are supposed to stay at 2MPH until about 11. Don't know when there will be a better day

The field will be closed Friday and Saturday, September 11-12, due to the Coleman Midgett Cross Country meet.

Also, the field will be closed on Friday, October 30, for the Hendersonville Chamber of Commerce Summer Fest.

Please do not fly on any of these days, but you are welcome to support these events, and the Hendersonville Parks Department!
