What a weekend for WNC Flag Football! Our teams showed up, competed hard, and represented WNC with pride.

Tough competition all weekend at the Smoky Mountain Gauntlet, and we’re proud of every player and coach for their effort and growth.

We brought home some great results and keep building a stronger program every time we hit the field.

A huge thank you to all of the players, coaches, families, officials, volunteers, and fans who joined us for our WNC Flag Tournament May 30th in Hendersonville NC! The energy, sportsmanship, and competition throughout the day made this event a tremendous success.

A historic moment: Girls flag football will be an officially sanctioned sport in 2026-27

The NCHSAA Board of Directors passed the motion by a narrow 9-8 margin. A separate motion dictated that the sport will be played during the fall season.

As the WNC FLAG spring season wraps up, we'd like to extend our congratulations to the winning teams and express our gratitude to all players for a fantastic season, thank you for your support of the league and our youth!
