Whatβs your legacy?
For us, legacy is built one swimmer, one practice, one relationship, and one season at a time.
NOVA South is becoming Legacy Swim Club.
Our roots go back to 1969, when VACS was established as one of the first year-round swim programs in this area. In 2013, the program became NOVA South. Now, we are carrying that history forward with a name and identity of our own. π€π
Legacy is not just about where we started. It is about what we continue to build.
It is the athletes who grow up here. π
The coaches who once swam here and came back to lead. π£
The families who believe in this program. π€
The teammates who become part of each otherβs story. π
Same coaches.
Same facilities.
Same standards.
Same commitment to helping athletes grow as swimmers and people.
Now with a clearer identity, stronger visibility, and a name that reflects who we are and where we are headed. π¦

Three of our own took on NCSA Junior National Championships in Orlando this week πΊπΈπ₯ and if you know, you knowβ¦ this meet is FAST.
This is the kind of week that tests everything. Early wake-up swims, long timelines, freezing cold mornings on deck π₯Ά, grocery runs and figuring out how to feed yourself all week (or just hoping Brendan makes you ham and cheese balls), then turning around for finals warm-upsβ¦ whether youβre swimming or notβ¦ and being back on deck until 8 PM every night.
Itβs a grind. And they handled it like pros πͺ
This was Ryanβs third and final NCSA Juniors, Brendanβs second and final, and Landon qualifying this year as a sophomore, tying the standard and stepping onto this stage for the first time π
Different journeys, same level of toughness, resilience, and ownership all week.
And more than anything, they were justβ¦ themselves. Great teammates, great energy, and the kind of kids you want representing your team π€ππ
Such a fantastic week. So proud of these three π¦ π¦ π¦

NOVA Short Course Send-Off β Day 2: 11 & Overs π₯πββοΈ
What a way to CLOSE OUT the meet!! This session had it all β incredible racing, best times, and even some fun with the blocks too! ππ₯
One of the highlights of the session π
π₯ Terrell vs. Jaiden in a 50 fly SHOWDOWN!! Both dropped 2 seconds, went 2-3 in their heat, and raced it all the way to the wall β Terrell with the out-touch! Jaiden also hit a NEW AGC Bonus Cut in the event!! π
And the momentum kept going:
π₯ KP went ALL best times β 13-second drop in 200 back, almost 4 seconds in 50 back, and nearly 2 seconds in 100 free!
π₯ Abby closed out the meet strong with a best time in her 200 IM!
π₯ Bre brought the energy all session, raced tough, and was right off her times!
Such a fun, high-energy way to wrap up an awesome meet π So proud of this group and how they showed up, competed, and supported each other!
