Incorporated in September of 1963, the Chestnut Oaks Association proceeded to purchase land at the corner of Parham and Fordson Roads. A large baby pool, tennis courts, children's play area, blacktop with hoop, tennis practice area, and covered pavilion for parties and picnics were added over the years. The Chestnut Oaks Stingrays Swim Team currently swims in Division I of the Greater Richmond Aqu

atic League. We offer one of the best private pool and tennis membership values in the suburban Richmond area. If you are not currently a Chestnut Oaks member, please visit our Membership pages, and consider the recreational value that we can offer to YOUR family! Happy Bruce Day! If you have not met Bruce but love CORA, you probably have been positively impacted by him. Bruce is a retired teacher and has been a manager and the maintenance man at CORA for the last 20 years. Today we celebrate Bruce as he is retiring from his maintenance duties and we wish him well! Calling all 9-12 year olds! Join us for a fun-filled, Tween Takeover Party!
This special event is for our members and their friends that are 9-12 years old. We encourage you to bring your friends. We will have an evening of swimming, games, and socializing in a safe and fun environment. Pay $5 at the door, per child. This is meant to be a drop off event! Parents will need to sign a waiver but we will have volunteers present to supervise.
The party runs from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM, giving plenty of time for everyone to enjoy the water, music, and activities planned especially for ages 9 to 12. We will have drinks and light snacks. Make sure to invite your friends and come ready for an awesome night!
