Incorporated in September of 1963, the Chestnut Oaks Association proceeded to purchase land at the corner of Parham and Fordson Roads. A large baby pool, tennis courts, children's play area, blacktop with hoop, tennis practice area, and covered pavilion for parties and picnics were added over the years.
