⚪️In today’s matchup, the Varina 8U Softball team faced a tough challenge and was unfortunately defeated and eliminated by the 8U Rockbridge All-Stars from the Va Babe Ruth Tournament. Despite the loss, Venom’s unwavering dedication, resilience, and teamwork have been on display as they managed to secure a spot among the top four teams out of thirteen teams from across the state.
⚪️VYS Softball is extremely proud and encourage our 8U All-Stars and ALL our VYS softball and baseball teams to continue growing, developing and pushing towards success!! 💪

The Varina 8U All-Star team is RELENTLESS.
⚪️ Our Venom 8U All-Stars made Varina proud today as they battled hard in their third game of the Va Babe Ruth softball tournament against the Rockville 8U All-Stars. Although they came up short in Game 3, they battled it out until the end.
⚪️ Immediately following Game 3, Varina showed their resilience by showing up BIG time in Game 4 with 24 hits and awesome defensive plays in the midst of rain defeating the Peach Tree 8U All-Stars 15-6.
Way to go, Varina 8U All-Stars!! Varina is proud of your determination. Good luck during Game 5!!

Our Varina 8U All-Stars brought the determination, heart and Venom spirit to the field today, adding another win to their All-Star tournament record!! Bats were swinging, gloves were on fire, and spirits were high!!
