Our 12 & Under PPOW this week is Harper Brown, from Age Group Bronze! Harper usually presents herself as a very quiet presence in AGB. She’s the type of kid who keeps her head low, concentrating on getting the job done everyday at practice. And speaking of practice, she has shown her dedication by maintaining above average attendance throughout the season. She finished the short course season with 8 B times, and through her continued hard work this spring and summer, she ended the long course season with 1 BB time and 10 B times. When she was presented with the PPOW at practice, it was clear that her teammates in AGB also felt she was well deserving of this recognition. Way to be a leader for AGB, Harper! 💥

Congratulations to David Schreck on being named a ASCA top 25 Age Group Coach for the 2026 season. The top 5 coaches will be announced in September at the ASCA conference in Orlando.

That’s a wrap on the 2026 Long Course District Champs meet. NOVA swimmers made good on the last day fast day promise! Scoring over 10,000 combined points, winning the meet and clocking lots of best times today. Well done NOVA swimmers coaches and families. Enjoy the upcoming holiday and then get ready for Long Course Senior Champs!
