This will be our 20th season of competitive racing. It’s been a long road, a lot of tracks and many friends made. 10 years of kart racing took us all over the country even as far as Louisiana. We enjoyed much success with feature wins and track championships in multiple states as well as finishing in the Top 5 at Nationals 6 years in a row.
Moving to a B Mod was a great decision and has been a lot of fun. We haven’t blown anyone’s doors off but we’ve been competitive and scored feature wins in Miller and Huron with the biggest coming at the State Fair in the final Fair race to be held there.
Life has changed a lot in the past 20 years. From running 50-60 nights a year in karts, to having a family and dialing back our racing to maybe only a dozen races a season. Not sure how many years we will continue to race but one thing is for sure, I have spent most of my summers at a race track and it’s something you don’t just get out of your system. Who knows, maybe one day you’ll see one of my boys strapped in, pulling out onto the track.
