Spirit Martial Arts

This is something that is very important to know, and remember. I will at some point be posting this again. Negative things happen at sporting events. Usually it comes from the parents, not the kids.

Awesome the original Spirit Martial Arts team. Their hard work and courage, made the Spirit Martial Arts brand. They competed locally but did not stay local. They had the guts they had the talent. I was, and am very proud of them, not only of who they were then but who they have become now. After all, that was the point in the first place. We forgot that sometimes.

This will be the last week of classes for Spirit Martial Arts. Black Belt Test, done. Belt test, done. Little Tigers test, Thursday. So no Saturday class, instead we will be having a Spirit Martial Arts Garage Sale at 10 am on Saturday. Also if you are interested in picking up your file for the next school, you can pick them up on that day.

Thanks to all the judges and students for a great test last night. I want to thank Susan Skinner, Elizabeth Skinner Ogeron, Isaac Frankle Austin Bole, John Ruotolo and Mike Byrum for helping us out last night. Rox was so impressed with the students and judges.

It was a great black belt test last weekend, everyone totally outdid themselves. Thursday and Friday will be the last official color belt test, It's at 5;30 pm both nights and we will have a suprise judge.

Micayla and Christian Russell have been very helpful around the house and on the field. Micayla helped carry the bags of equipment for the coach, and was very helpful with the grocery list. Christian has been very helpful to his grandfather with the bathroom renovations, which included replacing the flooring. Also he held open the door for his mother and sister.

It's with much deliberation, number crunching, and prayer that I regretfully announce the end of Spirit Martial Arts. The last day of this wonderful commercial venture will be on May 31rst. The last tests will go on. I still want to get as many as far as l can on these last closing days. Thanks to everyone that has supported us in these last 15 years. For the most part it has been a pleasure.
