9u TOC team won another against Lunada Bay Friday!

Smith Hill with a 6-3 double play in the first to keep the score at 0.
He then came in to pitch in the middle of the 2nd with 1 out and 2 on, got out of the jam to keep us at 0.

Tied at 8 in the bottom 5th Mason Bell hit a single up the middle to give us a 2 run lead. And then in the bottom of 6, Logan hit the walk off single!

Hermosa plays in the Tournament FINALS this Sunday at 9a and 1130 at Lunada Bay field. They gotta win both for the championship. Let’s get some HBLL crew up on the hill to cheer them on!!

Much love and congratulations to the 2026 HBLL All-Stars! These 10, 11 and 12 year olds will be representing Hermosa in their respective District 36 Tournaments, beginning 6/20. Go get ‘em fellas!

Our 9U Hermosa ballers continued their TOC campaign this morning with a thrilling 10-9 WIN over Lunada Bay! Beautiful spotlight on big Jack who went 2-2, including a WALK OFF Home run with 2 outs in the bottom of 6th; and catcher Finn Ryan who went 1-3 and threw out 2 runners attempting to steal.

The Fredrickson’s have spent years giving back to Hermosa Beach and the South Bay—supporting local schools, youth sports, nonprofits, and countless community events. Now it’s our turn to show up for them.

The District 36 9U Tournament of Champions is officially underway with 7 leagues competing for the top spot. Hermosa Baseball kicked it off with a definitive 11-1 win over MBLL! Big congrats to our ballers, and a shout out to young Logan who dealt 4⅔ innings of no-hit, no-walk ball, leaving with a spotless line except for one unearned run!
