Thank you to all the students and instructors that showed up to the memorial for Travis Snyder…It truly means more than I can say to his family and speaks to the community that we have built within the school. It’s during these times that we need to come together as a community and support the people that need it the most. It seems simple to just show love and compassion to those going through difficult times, but unfortunately it is more rare than not nowadays. Given the state of much of the country and even the world at this point, it’s something that means so very much. To some it might seem simple or something that just should get done, and they are correct, but the truth is many communities just do not do it.
Once again, I cannot thank everyone enough for taking the time out of their lives to do what is right within the community that we are all a part of and that we all appreciate so very much. Thank you all, I look forward to what’s in store for all of us in the coming year…

For those of you that can make it to Travis’s Memorial here is the info..we will have it up at the school and also be announcing it after classes this week…If you can make it to show Support for the family it would be very much appreciated and welcomed…it’s during these times that we show what the community we have all worked to build is all about…So please feel free to come if you are available….

I don’t have the best words to explain what I need to explain about this person but I will do my best, forgive me if I fall short..
Today we lost an incredible man and warrior through and through… I have not known another man with the type of strength inside and yet with equal amounts of compassion and love… Travis Snyder was such a good man that words don’t truly express who he was but he showed It through his actions. Every single day fighting the fight that he needed to fight , that he had no choice to fight and yet he did it with the heart that most champions don’t have and above all the grace that few seem to have at this moment in history……I’ve spent my life working and fighting alongside warriors, and I can truly say that he stands at the top of the list of men that I look up to and use as a role model for myself. I will use his example for how to face the most difficult challenges in life with proper attitude but most of all the proper Grace and compassion…His family will grieve, but they will celebrate the man that he was because there’s no other way that you can do it for such a man… Please give his family time that they might need to deal with this heartache in the way that they feel is necessary, but always be waiting there for them when they are in need in any way… I know I will be ….and I can use the help of the people that are within the Elite community to be sure that they are taking care of however, they might need in the future…
We will miss you Travis…but we will keep your memory and spirit alive through our shared experiences and support…
