Pinarello e-bike, popped out bottle cage thread cert. Screws bottomed out on battery cracking one and popping out the other. Repaired and repainted 👍

So we received a bike with a seat tube seat clamp crack that had quote unquote “been repaired by someone” ? In order to repair you have to understand the issue that created the problem. You can’t just put a layer of carbon on the crack and consider it repaired. We took some measurements and found where the customers ride height on the Seatpost was in fact where the Seatpost started to taper down. This in turn took the seat clamp to the complete closed position and put too much pressure on the carbon clamping area. We fixed both areas bike and post and fixed the real issue. Bandaids are good for cuts but not carbon repairs. RideOn !!!
