The "Gator" themed rods have proven to be pretty popular so I got another one built and finished over the weekend. This one is built on a Rainshadow Rx6 Sp843 medium blank with American Tackle's Aero reel seat and carbon fiber fore hood. American Tackle TI Forged high frame stainless quides. She's currently not spoken for and is available.

Here's another custom build that's finished and looking for a new owner. 7'2" Rainshadow Rx6 SP844 medium heavy blank mated with a matching white ultra lightweight blown carbon fiber handle system. American Tackle Aero reel seat with matching carbon hood. Custom metallic "dragonscale" decorative wrap and finished off with American Tackle MicroWave stainless guide system. This rod is super lightweight and extremely comfortable in your hands.
I've had this pistachio colored rod blank staring at me for a bit. Sometimes simple is better so I decided to skip the bling and go soft and subtle with the colors. Rainshadow SP843 7' medium blank. Full length custom cork grip, American Tackle Aero CCT graphite reel seat, custom "dragonscale" decorative wrap, American Tackle MicroWave stainless guides. Very very pleased with how she turned out. Here are some still pics of the rod I built my wife for Valentine's day.
I ordered this pink Rainshadow blank awhile back to give the color a try. When I opened it, I absolutely fell in love with the bright color. I decided to keep it and build my wife a new rod for Valentine's day. I used American Tackle's carbon fiber Tsuka II handle/reel seat system along with polished stainless guides. Faded dragonscale wrap to match the purple accented Kastking ultralight reel. Very light package.
