ANOTHER CLUB RECORD GOES DOWN! ARNAV TIKHE IS YOUR NEW CLUB MARATHON RECORD HOLDER! In his marathon DEBUT in Toronto, Arnav takes the down the club record with a time of 2:19.00. AIDAN NATHAN IS YOUR NEW CLUB HALF MARATHON RECORD HOLDER! In his race today out in Columbus, Aidan lands in the top ten breaking 65minutes in the half. His time of 1:04.49 is the new LHTC half record!!🐎🐎 Congrats Aidan on an outstanding race!

We have a member of our select team racing this Sunday in the COLUMBUS HALF MARATHON! Aidan Nathan takes a step to prepare for his marathon in January by taking on the half.

“This is my first marathon build, and I think I’m a much stronger runner than I’ve been in the past. While I’m excited to see where my fitness is, I’m more excited for the chance to compete with some elite guys on the roads“

Helping me in wishing luck to our LHTC members racing this weekend!

Highlighting one of our members racing this weekend, we have Austin Lushinski headlining our big squad racing at the Army 10 Miler!

“All I’m looking for is just some validation from the wild week by week improvements I’ve had over the last 14 months. I’m moving faster than I ever did 10 years ago, so I’m just thrilled to be where I am” -Austin

Austin is feeling more ready than ever this weekend, and we are so excited to see what him and our crew will do at the Army 10 Miler!

We also have a few members taking over the Chicago Marathon this weekend!!

One of them including Cole Wintheiser! He has been working out better than ever. We are super excited to watch his workouts reflect in his race.

“Feeling strong coming in, Dustin has me on a strong plan so we’re shooting for a few-minute PR (roughly 2:26:00). Weather isn’t perfect, but it’s certainly not the worst I’ve had. Very excited to leave it all out there!”- Cole

Please help me in wishing all our members luck as they race this weekend. We have seen them put in the work and now it’s time to see the results! LETS GO LHTC!

Introducing the Heads Will Roll 5K - Halloween morning in Vienna!!

Same fast point-to-point course as Let ’er Rip — starting on Mill Street and rolling down the WOD. We’ll start in sections seeded by entry time again

Registration opens October 1. Free to enter, capped at 100 runners, and we expect it to fill quickly. Save the date!

Donations are always appreciated to help us keep putting on events like this!

Shake off some rust and lets a fast 5K!

Join us for the first let ‘er rip 5k - Labor Day weekend - Saturday, September 5 at 7:30am on the Vienna W&OD.

Point-to-point. Fast course. Small sections of 5–25 runners going off every three minutes seeded by entry time, so you’ll have people around you to race

Free to enter. Donations to Light Horse are appreciated, but not required. Registration is capped at 100 runners.

Come race, chase a PR, shake off some rust, or just get after it on a Saturday morning and let ‘er rip
