Come on out TONIGHT to PR Run and Walk in Vienna and meet Alisa Harvey - a DMV Running Legend!

We’ll start with a short run at 6pm followed by a discussion and book signing with Alisa at 6:30

Run Unbridled Featured Runner: Cristina Burbach!

Cristina Burbach is headed to the Open 800m at Run Unbridled as one of top T36 para runners in the country

A Washington, DC native who has called Arlington home since 2013, Cristina represents Capital Area Runners and is an inspiration to all

A graduate of Georgetown University, Cristina didn’t even begin running until her mid-30s. She went on to become a competitive Masters runner, posting PRs of 5:25 for the mile, 1:02:28 for 10 miles, and 2:57:42 for the marathon.

Then, in 2023, Cristina was diagnosed with Parkinson’s Disease and had to relearn how to run

Today, she is a T36 para-athlete, a three-time Boston Marathon division champion, Boston course record holder, and American record holder in the 800m (3:18.46), 1500m, and 5000m.

Her goal at Run Unbridled? A season best and a run under 3:25 in the 800m.

What brings her to Run Unbridled? “I watched the live stream of Down the Stretch this year and really wished I had been there. It looked like everybody was having so much fun and running well at one of the best meets on the East Coast. So there was no question that I was going to compete at Run Unbridled. I am super excited for this Friday!”

Run Unbridled Featured Runner: Ben Reynolds!

Ben Reynolds is headed back to the Infinity PT Select Mile at Run Unbridled 

Hailing from Blacksburg, VA - Ben enters the meet with one goal: To win

A former Virginia Tech and Oregon standout, Ben owns a 3:58 mile PR and before coming to the United States, Ben was the 2021 England U20 Champion at 1500m and a 10-time Welsh Junior Champion.

Ben raced at Run Unbridled last year and is excited to return for another shot at a stacked field.

What brings him back to Run Unbridled?  “A chance to race against top competition right here in Virginia.”

With the pace being set at 1:58 through 800m and a pack of six runners all chasing sub-4, the Infinity PT Select Mile is shaping up to be one of the races of the night

Run Unbridled Featured Runner: Tim McInerney!

Tim McInerney is headed to the Alisa Harvey 800 at Run Unbridled 

Representing the Enclave and hailing from New Jersey, Tim brings 1:47 PR into a deep 800 field

His goal for Run Unbridled?  To win. 😤

While this will be Tim’s first time racing at Run Unbridled, George Mason is familiar ground.

“I’ve never raced this meet before, but I ran my first collegiate 800 at George Mason and am excited to be back racing in the DC area.”

Fun fact: Tim is the oldest of seven kids

Run Unbridled Featured Runner: Shona O’Brien!

Shona O’Brien is headed to the Infinity PT Select Mile at Run Unbridled

Representing Philadelphia Runner Track Club, Shona is originally from Ireland and now calls Philadelphia home

A graduate of University College Cork, Shona brings a 4:19 1500m PR (equivalent to approximately 4:41 for the mile) into a strong women’s field

Her goal for Run Unbridled? “I would love to run sub-4:45 in the race and just have some fun and enjoy the atmosphere.”

We’re excited to welcome another international athlete to the DMV and continue building a meet that attracts runners from across the country (and world!)

Fun fact: Shona’s favorite place to run near Philadelphia is Valley Forge National Historical Park 🌳

Judi Jones Spinks is headed to the Pugsley 3K Steeplechase at Run Unbridled

Representing Light Horse Track Club, Judi returns to her signature event for the first time since 2024

A former standout at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, Judi owns a blazing 9:41 steeplechase PR and competed in the 2024 U.S. Olympic Team Trials in the event

Now a new mom, Judi’s goal for Run Unbridled is simple: run as close to 10 minutes as possible in her first steeplechase back

Come watch one of the region’s top distance runners return to the barriers and water jump under the lights!
