Our CrossFit Kids Summer Camp is designed for ages 7–12 to build strength, confidence, and to have a ton of fun along the way. From skill work to kid-friendly workouts, everyday keeps them moving and learning in a supportive environment.

Every Open season, we bring the heat with our in-house community competition 🔥
Scores combine performance across scaled, masters & RX divisions PLUS those all-important spirit points (signing up for the Open, rocking your team shirt, posting on social, showing up for Friday Night Lights, and more). It’s always a blast seeing everyone’s competitive side come alive 💪

Final week of the Open. Time to finish with a bang. 💥
26.3 Tips & Strategy:
This one feels very true to CrossFit. Nothing fancy—just a tough workout that rewards the people willing to stay uncomfortable the longest. Anyone can do this workout… the real question is who wants to hurt more.
1️⃣ Pace from the start
Don’t get baited into sprinting the first round. This workout gets heavy and taxing quickly, so find a sustainable pace early and stick to it. STAY MOVING on the BURPEES…steady wins the race!
2️⃣ Break the barbell early
Even if it feels light at first, save your legs & heart rate from spiking out of control. Smart options:
• 6-6
• 4-4-4
• 3-3-3-3
Short rests > one big burnout set.
3️⃣ Respect the thrusters
These were the real separator. They demand a lot of power and energy to drive the bar overhead—especially once fatigue hits. Stay controlled, breathe at the top, and keep the bar path efficient.
4️⃣ Do it with friends
The Open is always better with your community. Come throw down with us — CrossFit Herndon has the best crew. Join us for one final Friday Night Lights at 4:30pm.
