Resurrecting this page during this unprecidented pandemic to try to bring some stress relief to all. You all...the struggle is real trying to record one of these classes and homeschooling three kids at the same time😁 You will see places where I had to splice videos together as kids would interrupt and I would have to stop recording...and I am by no means savvy a video technology...but I hope you enjoy this HIIT class. And remember, my HIIT classes are for EVERYBODY. Impact not required to have intensity. :-)

I have been waiting for a super cold day to make this.....I think this qualifies. :-) Comfort food and healthy! Hello fitness friends! I know it has been a while since I have posted. This has been one crazy start to the school year. But I just had to post about this today because I woke up feeling so good! And guess what I owe it all to. A Pilates Class! Those of you that know me know I love to run and I teach a high intensity fitness class at The NZone. But lately I hadn't been feeling my best and I could not figure out why. Finally, the light bulb went off...I had plenty of cardio and strength, but no stretching. You see friends, we can do just one form of exercise and expect to get the fitness gains we want. It is important to hit fitness from all angles. So if you religiously run three times a week, I challenge you this weekend to lift some weights. And if you hit the Pilates class three times a week, I challenge you to take a cardio fitness class. Move your body in a way it isn't used to! Your body really is a temple, so let's honor it!

This is the day that the Lord has made! I don't know about where you are but the weather in Northern VA is AMAZING today! And fiveish miles later (I try not to track my miles too much) all my stress has gone away! What are you doing on this beautiful day to celebrate the body God has given you?

I will admit...I used to LOVE a good Pumpkin Spice Latte from my friends at Starbucks. But when I looked to see exactly what they put in that drink...I decided to pass. That is why I LOVE this recipe...I get my PSL fix, and a healthy does of oats too! And this recipes has NO sugar in it except that which naturally occurs in fruits! Super win win!
