I always say, 'Culture comes from people. Islam came from Allah! So remember to follow Islam over culture.' Every single act you've inherited from your father and forefathers, look at it through the filter of the Qur'an and Sunnah; if it fits, follow it, or else throw it in the garbage, and don't ever look back. But the money making doesn’t stop there, those same companies are likely owned by pharmaceutical companies that stand to make even more profit off your sickness. That’s the food pharmaceutical complex. And who loses? You & the producers of REAL food. Your health deteriorates and honest small scale farmers who can’t compete on pricing and go under against corporate giants.
