Mountain Ridge High School Boy's Golf

Last region tournament for these seniors was a cold, windy, and rainy one but they played strong through the conditions and came away with a 3rd place finish, our best of the season. Hopefully better weather comes for the state tournament next week 🤞🏼

Finished 4th today with a 324, 5 shots behind 3rd. Scoring was tough out there but good finishes made up for tough starts. Region Championship and State are the last two tournaments we have left for the season.

Great tournament at Soldier Hollow today, solid team scores on a tough course with standout individual scores from Max, Zach, Tag, Kooper, and Carter C.

Great Tournament today at Meadowbrook, the varsity team set a new team record of 297, breaking 300 for the first time in our 5 seasons thanks to personal region tournament lows from Bronx, Trayson, Carter and Conner. Bronx also set the new school individual record at (-3). Our JV team also edged out Riverton for 4th, thanks to good scores from Zach, Coen, Hewitt, and Jace.

Starting the season off strong with 2 tournaments in 2 days.

Here is the roster for this year’s team. Tryouts this year were the most competitive they’ve ever been so we are looking forward to a great season and want to thank everyone that came out for the team.

Thanks for signing up early for tryouts, here are the tee times for next Monday, there are a few spots open still if anyone is thinking about it. Don’t forget to also get registered online ahead of time.

Parent/Player Meeting is moved to .utah , parents and players are invited to play for an hour for free after the meeting!

We’ve scheduled our meeting for next season, please come to get all the information you need for this summer/fall. We will also be selling some discounted gear.

The guys followed up a great region start with a great job at the preseason invitational. Bronx, Landon, Trayson, and Max led the team to a new school low, but we don’t think it will last too long before it is broken again.

First tournament of the season is in the books, varsity had a solid start led by Trayson and Carter. The JV team also did well with great scoring from both Landons and Jacob. Tomorrow the team looks to compete with some of the top players in the state at the High School Invitational.

THANK YOU to everyone that came out to tryouts this year! We had our biggest group yet and thanks to your efforts it went incredibly smoothly. There was a lot of talent on the course but unfortunately we had to limit our team size. Congratulations to everyone on this list, we’ve got an exciting season ahead of us.
