Working with your horse is all about building trust, improving communication, and enhancing their fitness. One of the most valuable tools in our training toolbox is lunging.
Lunging helps establish boundaries, develop balance, and increase your horse's suppleness—all without the weight of a rider. It's a fantastic way to warm up before riding, cool down afterward, or work on specific exercises.
Remember, consistent and correct lunging can make a big difference in your horse’s performance and overall well-being. Happy riding! 🐴✨

LEGENDS NEVER DIE, THEY JUST RIDE HIGHER: TODAY WE CELEBRATE THE HEAVENLY BIRTHDAY OF LANE FROST, THE MAN WHO TAUGHT US THAT REAL HEROES WEAR COWBOY BOOTS AND FACE THE STORM HEAN-ON
Heavenly birthday wishes to the legendary Lane Frost, born October 12, 1963, in La Junta, Colorado, a true cowboy whose name still rides tall in rodeo history. Lane wasn’t just a champion bull rider; he was the very spirit of courage, determination, and grace under pressure.
By age 24, Lane had already achieved what most could only dream of, winning the 1987 PRCA World Championship in Bull Riding and becoming one of the most beloved figures in professional rodeo. His charm, humility, and sportsmanship made him a fan favorite, inspiring countless young riders to chase their dreams.
Tragically, Lane’s life was cut short on July 30, 1989, during the Cheyenne Frontier Days Rodeo, when he suffered fatal injuries after completing a successful ride on the bull “Taking Care of Business.” His passing broke hearts around the world, but his legacy only grew stronger.
Lane’s story was immortalized in the 1994 film 8 Seconds, and to this day, he’s remembered not only as a champion but as a symbol of heart, faith, and perseverance.
Happy heavenly birthday, Lane. Your spirit still rides in every arena, every country song, and every cowboy’s dream.
