🥋 BELT TESTING — TUESDAY, AUGUST 25TH

Testing is coming up! Students who are ready to test should receive their testing invitation this week.

📣 FIRST-TIME TESTERS

If this will be your child’s first belt test, we are holding 2 Test Prep Classes:

We highly recommend attending BOTH classes if your child has never tested before! We’ll go over what to expect, practice their material, and help them feel confident and prepared for testing. 💪🥋

Testing fees are due before this Friday.

Last week, I sat down and talked to these boys about competing in this Jiu-Jitsu tournament. I told them something I hope they remember for the rest of their lives:

Men do hard things — even when they’re scared.

Being brave doesn’t mean you aren’t nervous or afraid. It means you show up anyway. And today, these boys showed up.

I’m beyond proud of every one of them. Not because of medals, wins, or losses, but because they had the courage to step out there, compete, and test themselves. That takes guts.

The other day, I looked over and saw all these kids standing together in my house with my son. They train together, compete together, hang out together, and are growing up together. It hit me in that moment that this is so much bigger than martial arts.

These are relationships that I hope last a lifetime.

I want to coach these boys for as long as they’ll let me. I want to watch them grow into young men, graduate, start careers, build families, and chase whatever dreams they have.

Maybe one day some of them will want to open their own gyms. If they do, I’ll be right there helping them build it. And if their dreams have absolutely nothing to do with martial arts, I’ll still be there cheering them on.

This is how I want Ronin to grow — not just by adding students, but by building a family and raising the next generation of leaders.

I truly believe we’re going to be a part of each other’s lives forever.

Proud of you, boys. This is only the beginning. 🥋❤️
