We got a happy accident when Karen printed a jersey upside down. So we decided to make it a fun award to an athlete each week. Henry was the first recipient of the FLIPPIN AWESOME AWARD for cheering on everyone at the El Paso meet and shaving a minute off his time!

Great job to our PR awards (they got PR bracelets!) and splash zone winners!

Mark your calendars: Heyworth Junior High Cross Country team is doing a Dine to Donate at Texas Roadhouse Bloomington location on Tuesday, September 22nd from 3-10pm. 10% of all purchases will be donated back to the Junior High Cross Country team. You MUST have a flyer for it to be applicable. They have a strict policy that fliers cannot be passed out in the restaurant or parking lot. Please come out and support our team!

The athletes ran a fast timed mile on the track & then played a fun game of sharks & minnows!! We beat the storms too!
