Im about to get real vulnerable with yall for a second.

Most of us dread the scale, but I want to show you it's power.

I went a little crazy over labor day weekend and my weight shot up over 5 pounds. I was excited for the progress I made last week and totally got lax. π
.
.
Yesterday I weighed in and saw how much i had gained. I made the commiment to stay on track (mostly) with my nutrition and lost almost 4 pounds in ONE DAY.
.
.
THIS is the motivation I need to keep me going. To let me know me choosing a salad yesterday instead of the pizza I so badly wanted was worth it!!! Now my goal is to get under 200 and STAY THERE.

When having a treat do you beat yourself up about it or enjoy it and move on?
With our new program you can enjoy these things once in a while without feeling bad about it!
I've lost 2 pounds in 2 days implementing the tips I've learned and I haven't even worked out! So exciting!

This recipe popped up in my Facebook memories and I just HAD TO share again!
They are perfect for when you want an indulgent treat but don't want to ruin your progress or feel guilty after eating them. They also are a "one pot" kind of meal because everything is dumped into the blender, making for a super easy clean up!
The ingredients are listed below in the pic. Here are the instructions:
Preheat the oven at 350Β°. Mix all the ingredients (except for the chocolate chips) in a blender or processor until smooth. Then evenly pour into 12 muffin cups. Push about 4 chocolate chips in each and bake 15-20 mins! Let cool then enjoy!!!
Seriously SO EASY guys. I even have made these with the kids. They are nut and gluten free so great for school bake sales and people with allergies. If you make these please let me know!

Everyday at 3 pm the after lunch crash sleepiness and sugar cravings would hit and I would run to the vending machine and ruin my progress with a snickers bar. π

My fitness coach suggested I move my daily vegan mom shake to that time to help me get rid of that craving and it totally worked! I don't know what kind of voodoo ingredients they have in this shake, but it cured my 3pm craving. π€£π€£

Not to say I don't get them anymore, but it is no where close to the everyday craving I once had. The superfoods like quinoa, moringa, and chia give me the energy to get through the rest of my day at work and help keep me full until dinner time.

My favorite part is that it's so delicious it feels like a cheat. π«
