In observance of our nation’s birthday and the celebration of Independence Day, AikiDojo of Hickory will be closed from today, Sunday, June 28th through Sunday, July 5th.

Not every challenge happens on the mat.

Donald was unfortunately sick and unable to participate in our regularly scheduled belt testing, but he didn't let that stop him. Once he was feeling better, he came back determined, put in the work, and absolutely rocked his promotion test!

Earning a new rank isn't just about learning techniques. It's about perseverance, dedication, and having the courage to keep moving forward when obstacles get in the way. Donald showed all of those qualities and more.
