I was speaking with one of my clients about lifting the knees to increase her stride length and we practiced a little at the track. She went home and did a little more research of her own and found this great video. Check it out to learn more about all the angles with a runners stride. Chris Solinsky Stride Analysis We were able to film Chris Solinsky running a 10K at 300 frames per second. Our analysis shows that he has a very small stride angle, a large crossover and overstride angle and a large bounce. Improving his stride efficiency will enable him to set World Records from the 1500 up through the marathon.
