A very special event as former HP Giants Varsity Head Coach Andy Knotek and former Varsity player Johnny Lindquist (class of 2008) were inducted into the HPHS Athletic Hall of Fame! Joined by their families, friends and former teammates, they took center stage and were honored at half time of the Giants football game last night, along with Lena Munzer, standout basketball player (class of 2013). Once a Giant - Always a Giant!

Highland Park’s Simon Rose (SS/P) was named a Class 4A honorable mention All-State Player for the 2026 season.

Simon hit .315 with 15 doubles, 3 homeruns and 37 RBI for the Giants as well as going 10-1 as a pitcher with an ERA of 0.720 while striking out 96 batters in 58 innings.
