One of my newer lessons just started learning a front walkover and is doing absolutely fabulous!! Here are the steps I take to teach them how to do a front walk over PROPERLY!!!!
It is very important to teach them the right way from the beginning so they don’t develop bad habits they later have to break. However, I will take teaching each mistake one by one to not overwhelm them.

Coaches, PLEASE!!! Teach a proper split from day 1!!! Fixing splits later in one’s gymnastics career can be tricky as their muscles have been stretched the wrong way for so long!
