COBCA Secures a Thrilling Season-Opening Victory Against DCC Gladiators
COBCA kicked off the season in spectacular fashion with a resilient team performance against the DCC Gladiators, overcoming early setbacks to chase down a target of 180.
• Disciplined Bowling & Fielding: A collective effort restricted DCC to 179 runs. Debuting bowler Sid made an instant impact with an outstanding spell, heavily backed by strong supporting performances from Atharva, Praveen, Manish, Sumit, and Iyyappan.
• Composure Under Pressure: The chase faced early trouble, collapsing to 54/5 despite a crucial steadying partnership between Pradeep and Atharva.
• The Match-Winning Partnership: Exhibiting immense character and patience, Shash and Sumit turned the game around by locking down and playing one ball at a time.
• Man of the Match Performance: Shashant led the charge with a masterclass innings of 74 runs, showcasing elite temperament and game awareness to guide COBCA across the finish line.
