Hilliard 5K Run/Walk Nite Classic

Thank you to all those who raced, donated and sponsored our race! The boys and girls teams traveled to Tennessee and Centerville, OH this weekend to race in night races against top Midwest talent. The boys team finished 2nd out of 28 teams with Connor Ackley crushing the competition with a first place finish, new PR and new course record. The girls team took first place in their races also recording many top finishes. These trips are possible through your generosity! Thanks for giving our runners these amazing experiences!

Rita’s of Hilliard is located along Franklin Street and Cemetery Road near Landmark Lofts. Rita’s has been in their current location for 3 years. I have worked with Jan, the owner, the last two years while working on raffle prizes. Rita’s of Hilliard is a strong supporter of our community and they can frequently be seen at many community events. Did you see the article about Jan and her daughter in the most recent Hilliard publication?!?!💙🍦🍧😃. Such a great story!!!

Rita’s is known for their traditional Italian Ice, but they also serve custard, concrete mixers, cookies, shakes, gelato and more!!!!

NBC features their standard flavor cakes but offers seasonally flavored cakes as well. They offer bundtinis, bundtlets, and 8” and 10” cakes.

Habaneros Mexican Grill has donated a $25 gift card to our raffle.

Habaneros has two locations in Hilliard, one in the Mill Run Shopping Center and one along Main Street south of Old Hilliard. Habaneros is a frequent supporter of our community and Hilliard City Schools.

Habaneros describes their menu as “Mexican street eats, cocktails & a generous selection of tequila & mezcal in funky strip-mall digs”….sounds pretty accurate to me! Their food is downright delicious!!!!🌮🌯

We are grateful for their donation again this year!

Coffee Connections is such a huge part of our Hilliard community. Their giving spirit and kindness just makes our city better!!!!! I am a part of many organizations in which Coffee Connections has done something to help.…schools, sports programs, various fundraisers, teachers, PTO’s, I could go on and on.

Coffee Connections has donated multiple items to our raffle in addition to being one of our top sponsors!!!! They have also given us coupons to give to to all of our race participants for $5 off a drink when you download and order through their app.

RAFFLE (and Dog love) ALERT TIME!!!!

We have two sets of 25 Over The Collar bandannas. These bandannas feature seasonal and sports themes and are reversible with a different design on the reverse, so you have 50 options to ”decorate” your pup!!!!

There will be two prizes, small - suggested for dogs up to 20lbs. (has a 1.25 inch opening for the collar) and Medium - suggested for dogs 20-60lbs (has a 1.75 opening for collar).

These prizes will be in our post race raffle. There will be two separate chances to win, so you can pick which size you want a chance to win. Each runner gets one raffle ticket, but additional Raffle tickets can be purchased from 6-7:40pm, raffle will be held at 7:50pm!
