Everything you need to know about Tuesday Twos! PLEASE READ!
*About*
Tuesday Twos is a random-draw, best-shot disc golf league held at Orchard Park in Hillsboro, Oregon. The league is laid-back and focuses on having fun and introducing new people to the competitive side of the sport. Players of all ages and abilities are welcome, especially those who have never played in an organized league or event before. Show up as many or as few times as you like, even in the middle of the season!
*Schedule*
The 2026 season runs every Tuesday, beginning May 5th and running through August 25th (16 weeks + Finals). Sign-ups begin at 5:15pm and end when we sell out (54 players) or by 5:30pm.
*Registration*
Tournament Central will be at the bench behind Hole 1. It's recommended to get there between 4:30-5:10pm to put your bag in line and reserve your spot. No spots can be held for someone that isn't physically at the course, and all players must check themselves in. Please have cash ready (exact change, please) and say your full name as you check-in. Once you are checked in, please check-in to the weekly Tuesday Twos UDisc event. After a short player's meeting, two rounds of 9 (18 holes) are played with awards following immediately after (usually around 8:00).
*Format / Rules*
The league is a true random-draw format (no divisions). There is no requesting pairings or cards (one exception: the League Director might allow people to play on the same card if someone brings a beginner, child, or significant other, and it is their first time playing the league). We encourage everyone to make new friends and form a strong community. The format is best-shot doubles, meaning that the pair of players must pick one shot to play from (no "splitting" lies). Once either player has made their disc in the basket, the hole is complete and the other player may not throw. Continue this format for the entire round. In the event of an odd amount of people, one player will end up playing “Cali” (one extra best-shot throw per hole - can be used on the drive or the putt). All PDGA rules will be in affect, and it's up to each player/ card to enforce the rules. Please keep in mind that there might be beginners that don't know the rules. Please be kind and courteous in the educating of the rules.
*Scorekeeping / UDisc*
All players MUST have a UDisc account, as we will use it for live-scoring. Pairings and hole assignments will be posted in the UDisc app. Keep score on UDisc and finalize the scorecard at the end of the round once everything has been checked for accuracy. If there are any issues, please contact the League Director.
*Tie Breakers*
In the event that there is a tie for teams that have potentially "cashed" (approximately the top 30% of the field), a closest-to-pin throw-off will occur at Hole 1. Throw-off results will affect payout placement, but NOT points for the season standings.
*Season Standings*
Each week, points are awarded based on how their team finished in the standings. The best score of the night will be awarded one point equal to the number of teams (54 players = 27 teams = 27 points to First Place). Second Place will be awarded one point less than first, and so on. Ties in score will be awarded the same amount of points, even is payouts are different due to throw-off results. The regular season is 16 weeks, but only a player's top 10 weekly results will count towards their season standings. Coming more weeks will incentivize a player to drop their low scores and hopefully climb the leaderboard. After Week 16, the top 18 people on the leaderboard will be awarded some token of recognition and will compete in the Finals. The Top 3 players in the standings will be awarded larger prizes for their great play all season. Season standings will be kept here:
https://www.discgolfscene.com/league/15746/all-day-disc-golf-presents-tuesday-twos-at-orchard-park-2026
*Finals*
Finals Week (August 25rd) will be open to all players. We will feature a prize (Closest-to-Pin or Longest Putt) on every single hole. Finals Contestants (see above) will be paired amongst themselves and will compete for added cash and trophies.
*Finalist Prizes/ Party*
The top 3 players in the season standings will be rewarded for their excellent play all season. First Place will receive $150 of value in cash/ gift cards/ trophies/ prizes. Second Place will get $100 of value, and Third Place will get $75 of value.
Finalists (top 18), in addition to competing for the added cash and trophies, will also be awarded with an invitation to the Finalists Party, which will take place at Marshall's Secret Disc Golf Course the week after the finals. Details TBD. Access to the course will be free. Some food will be provided.
*Entry Fee*
It only costs $7 to play. $4 of each entry fee goes to weekly payouts (full payout sheet available upon request). $1 of each entry fee goes into the ace-pot. $1 is collected and saved for the Finals. $1 will go towards supplies, trophies, and a league director fund.
*Ace Pot*
Each week, $1 of each entry goes towards the ace pot (54 players = $54 ace pot). If a player hits an ace during their league round, that player is awarded the ace pot. It is Tuesday Twos tradition to split that money with their partner. If multiple aces are hit, the money is divided evenly between the teams. If one individual player or team hits multiple aces, they will get the proportional share of the ace pot. If no aces are hit, the money will carry over to the next week, thus increasing the payout amount for future aces. Additionally, 5 points in the standings are awarded to the individual player who hit the ace. No limit on how many points you can collect for aces!
*Course Modifications/ OBs*
Each week, a certain set of OB (out-of-bounds) lines will be defined during the players meeting. They are almost always physically painted on the course or are pretty self-explanatory. In general, here's a good rule of thumb: If the basket is in a grassy area, then the grass area is the in-bounds area. If the basket is in a dirt/ bark chips area, then the grass is out-of-bounds. Please pay attention each week during the players meeting so you don't have any confusion. If ANY part of the disc is touching in-bounds, then your disc is "safe" and you may take 1 meter relief perpendicular to the OB line. The painted OB lines are NOT in-bounds - you must be touching in-bounds. If your disc is out-of-bounds, either choose your partner's lie or take your lie from where the disc last crossed in-bounds. Take your 1-meter relief and proceed with a one-shot penalty. The only exception to this is if an "island" is defined. If you and your partner both miss the island, then you must proceed to the marked mandatory drop-zone.
Each week, one or more course modifications will be played. This will usually either be an alternate basket or alternate tee area (marked by flags, paint, and/or cones). Again, please pay attention during the Players Meeting to know about the modifications for the week.
*Closest-to-Pin / Longest Putt Competitions*
Each week, we will feature at least one Closest-to-Pin competition and one Longest Putt competition. The groups starting on the designated holes will take the flags with them. If you throw a shot that is the closest shot to the pin on the CTP hole, write your name on the paper in the ziplock bag and leave the flag where your disc landed (must be in-bounds). Same thing applies to the longest putt on the corresponding hole. Prizes will be announced before the round and will be awarded to the individuals that win them (not to the team).
*Bounties*
We may feature an “Ace Bounty” and a “Perfect Round Bounty”. To claim an Ace Bounty, you must ace the hole assigned to the prize. Our Ace Bounty prizes are to be determined, and will be introduced at some point during the season. We may also feature a "Perfect Round Bounty" at some point in the season for the first team to shoot -18. This section will be updated once sponsors are locked in for these prizes.
