Another great weekend of lacrosse in the books! A quick break next weekend then we’re back at it!

The boys are buzzin’ and ready to take on the Rippers this Sunday, Hare Field at noon.

Of course, as is tradition, for the post game drink up!

From Our Oregon Lacrosse Referees-

Gentlemen, I am writing this email to you because you are the captains of your club teams. High School lacrosse in Oregon is suffering. We have lost over 30% of our officials either because of the pandemic or just natural attrition. I was hoping that you could forward this email to your team members in case one of them might have an interest in becoming an official. Without new recruits our high school season will definitely suffer. At this time the Eugene area only has 4 officials in the area. Also the Salem and Portland area need additional officials.

We will train you, you can set your own schedule, and for the most part if you reff a JV game and a Varsity game you will make $130 for the night. Even if you can only officiate one night a week that would be great. We need you!!! We know that all of you love lacrosse and this is a great way to give back to the game. Be part of Oregon Lacrosse future. Training for the Portland area starts in January, Eugene and High desert area will start soon after.
