A Big Weekend of Training with OCEAN REEF!

A huge thank you to Kevin and Andy from OCEAN REEF for an incredible training weekend with our team!

Friday: John and Dale kicked things off by becoming certified service technicians for Ocean Reef Full Face Masks. This allows us to maintain our own equipment and better support our FFM customers.

Saturday & Sunday: Dale and John continued their training and are now Ocean Reef certified instructors! They’re fully trained in using full face masks and communication units, and are ready to help you get the most out of your gear.

Monday: Dale completed the classroom and pool session for Train the Trainer—with one final step to go. Once complete, he’ll be able to train additional instructors on our team.

We also welcomed guest instructors from across Oregon—Grants Pass, Bend, and Salem. In return, we shared our passion for adaptive diving and showcased what makes our facility so special. It was a great opportunity to connect, learn, and grow together.

We’re excited to bring these new skills and capabilities to our dive community!

Ocean Reef is here teaching Full Face Scuba mask and communications instructors here this weekend! Congratulations to our newest Advanced Divers!

Elizabeth, Pete and Lily, successfully completed their Advanced Scuba Diver course last weekend! These four were determined—driving through snow to reach Hoodsport and completing two dives in freezing conditions on day one.

Day two rewarded them with beautiful weather and an unforgettable moment when a whale swam by as they were getting into the water. What an incredible experience!

Completing six dives in three days is quite an accomplishment. Great job, everyone—we’re proud of you!

A big thank you to Dale and John for instructing the class and making it a fantastic weekend. Anneliese joined the class working on her Dive Master certification.
