Had a good time sorting on Sunday. These athletes and their horses are figuring this out and just getting better and better!
We had great cattle to work- the first herd was so complacent, they just did their jobs with no fuss or muss. The next two herds had different ways to test the horses and riders. So much fun!!

Do you attend Glencoe High School and are interested in participating in the equestrian team?
We are getting ready to kick off our 2023/24 OHSET season!
We welcome all levels of riders and horses, as well as all disciplines. There’s something for everyone.
8th-12th graders are able to join the team as grooms (non-competitors). Being a groom is a great way to be a part of the team without needing to have a horse.
9th-12th graders can compete at our 3 district meets, possibly qualifying for State Championships in Redmond.
Last year we had many athletes qualify for state!

The rest of district meet #2 was cancelled but we were off to a great start!
Emily was 6th in Dressage
Jazmin and Katherine were 11th in Sorting
Jazmin, Alicia, Katherine, and Emily placed 6th for In Hand Obstacle Relay
And Emily is officially state qualified with another FIRST place in Showmanship 🥇
Due to the COVID -19 situation, our district meet this weekend has been closed to spectators. Family and essential volunteers are welcome. Please remember to wash your hands frequently, avoid touching your face, and stay healthy!
