🦋Introducing Monarch Theater Company, a brand-new youth theater program! 🦋

Designed for young performers in 3rd –12th grade, Monarch Theater Company is a joyful, low-pressure space where students can explore acting, storytelling, movement, and creative play — no experience necessary. Just bring your imagination!

Each class builds age-appropriate performance skills while helping students find their voice, grow confidence, and have a whole lot of fun along the way. Every session wraps with an informal performance for family and friends! 🎭

🍂Fall Session 1 runs August 17 - October 10. There is still time to enroll! :)

🧜‍♀️Week 5 Summer Camp Recap: Dragons, Mermaids & Unicorns, KPop HUNTR/X Concert and KPop Minis! 🎤

We finished up our amazing season of summer camps dressed up as some of our favorite fantastical creatures and pop stars. ⭐️🐉

If you can believe it, there are even more adorable pics than the ones we’ve shared here! We had the best time twirling in our costumes, practicing walking with Ponies on our heads, learning mermaid choreography, grooving to K-pop Demon Hunters HUNTR/X, and, of course, bonding with our dance friends!

A big thank you to all of our dance families who spent the summer season with us here at Monarch. We’re grateful for your support year-round, and so excited to kick off this new school year of dance together!

We’re so proud of our National Honors Society of Dance Arts members!

The program honors artistic merit, leadership, and academic achievement, and we are proud to share that we have seven current members. Kaylin Gallegly, Allie Henshall, Alice Woodbeck, and Harper Gallegly kicked our season off with a service project.

Last month, our NHSDA members helped the Hillsborough Arts Council set up for Last Friday on the Old Courthouse Lawn, and got a special shoutout in the arts council’s latest newsletter!

We had a lot of fun at Last Friday (as always!) and spent our time playing and dancing on the lawn, and getting some excellent Monarch tattoos! 😅🦋

🦋Week 4 Summer Camp Recap: Puppy Pals & KItty Crew, and Wicked Musical Theatre Camp! 🦋

In Mid-July, our littles got in touch with their wild sides at Puppy Pals & Kitty Crew camp, and our dancers aged 6-11 defied gravity at Wicked Musical Theatre Camp! 🐶😺

We were busy having fun in our Puppy Pals & Kitty Crew group, shown by the photo evidence of our Supervisor, Sgt. Pepper 🐈️! Don’t worry – he ran a tight ship! 😹

Our older group had a blast learning Broadway-style choreography, working on our set design (check out our Emerald City backdrop!), and finding our whimsy together. We especially loved envisioning ourselves in Oz, complete with costumes! 💚🩷

🦋Week 2 Summer Camp Recap: Swifties Video Camp! 🦋

Dancers spent the week in their ✨Monarch Era ✨ with their fellow Swifties!

The week was full of friendship bracelets, silly Swiftie-inspired outfits, learning music video choreography, and, of course, singing our favorite Taylor Swift songs!
