Sometimes I tell parents.... Coaching won't work right now.... Sometimes I recommend parents give their child space and time to try things on their own.... And this isn't necessarily a bad thing!

Just a thought about kids needing to focus more about what happens in college.... Outside the dorm room. While we want them to feel comfortable in their new home, the focus of college and being successful usually happens outside the dorm.
IMO .... Food for thought.

Living in disorganization can cause so much stress and exhaustion..... it also spills over into other executive function skills too. Having strong executive function has developed for me because it's my way of keeping my scattered, forgetful side in check.
